Just up the road is Speckenbuttel Park. It appears to be one of the few places mostly untouched by 35 plus years. I took a few pictures of the "Park Door" (ParkTor) on Park Strasse, the castle like structure on the curve. It had a fresh coat of paint and looked well. In a small shelter, just to the left of the "Door" is a new addition added in 1968. The Americans in Bremerhaven donated a redwood trunk slice from California depicting 1000 years time line."
