CTRC Jay Dowell (ret/deceased), while a member of Charlie Section ('59-'61), made a discovery which gave major impetus to task unit Clarinet Bullseye. For his performance/discovery, he was awarded the Navy Commendation Medal. A small group of T-Branchers (names not necessary, they know who they are), provided technical support and analysis following this discovery.
