Comments:Karl, You site is very moving and informative.I served 6 years in the service during tha Viet Nam War.Two years in the Army, and 4 years in the USAF.I lost many of my friends in Nam.I was never stationed in Nam but I was very close to the area.I,along with my wife Rustyjo, have adopted a POW-MIA and are currently working on building a tribute page to him.It is a disgrace the way our country has seem to have forgotten it's fallen heroes;also to ignore countless thousands of reports of living POWS; this a National Disgrace.Keep up the good fight.Visit us when you can,but please visit also when our POW MIA Page is completed.I do feel some guilt and shame for taking so long to get involved on this issue. Hello, Karl...
It's so great to see that so many of us are using this medium to express our feelings about our fallen brothers. Sites like ours, I feel, do more than just pay homage to them, but rather, do them justice in light of their sacrifices... more so than bureacracy seems to do.
Good luck and God Bless.

Comments: You have a nice way of displaying your Veteran Links in small button banners........great job you've done there. I love that big color picture of your ship. It would make an outstanding Lake.class applet.(hint) I'm in the process of redoing my website from scratch.....it's a only a shell of what I use to have up. It will be sometime before I get it completed as I want it. I do hate frames, even if they have some merit for massive sized websites. They cut down the page's width too much, and distract from the beauty of a website. With a good navigation system who needs them anyway? They trap surfers inside them, blocking out a quarter of the screen. You can't bookmark siteURLs, and frames don't alow other linked sites to be viewed as intended.

Comments: Hi Karl ! Your guestbook finally let me in and, I didn't crash either. I want to thank you so much for the link and the KK's Thumbs Up award you gave me. I've taken a wonderful trip around your site and discovered your ship was stationed here in Long Beach, California where I was sent for Navy hospital duty in 1967 and 1968; and where I now live. I must tell you that the Long Beach Naval Ship Yard is "NO MORE". Basically the whole Long Beach Navy Base is GONE! The city even wants to tear down the historic buildings on site and, turn the whole area into a "container storage yard". It's really a waste. Also, for anyone who was stationed at the (new 1966) Long Beach Naval Hospital - its GONE! Torn down to the ground, to make way for yet another shopping mall. What a waste. So this news will add a little more history for everyone who was at one time stationed here in LB, CA. Thanks again Karl. Your site just keeps getting bigger and bigger. What a job you've done my friend!! Smiles across the miles, Jacquie =:-)

Comments: You have done an outstanding job for our missing brothers and sisters. I too am a Vietnam Veteran (67-69), and I will never abandon the search for my missing brothers and sisters. Our web page is dedicated to this cause, and we have been working on this shameful issue since 1989. Keep the faith, someday the truth shall be known. Permission to use your branch of service gifs and stats on our home page. We won't use them until we hear back from you.

Comments: Looks great Karl. Every time I run into a new POW page it makes me feel all the less lonely. Out in Kansas we don't get much "world" news and most people think this is a dead issue. There are 3 small groups of activists in Kansas and we've been pretty active but like anything else..."if it didn't affect your life, it doesn't matter"! Gets pretty depressing sometimes but we're all hanging in. Get lots of newsletters from all over country on this issue and now, being on Internet, has helped. We will soon have our own Website also. Welcome Home, Karl!
