NCVA National ReunionMonday thru Thursday |
Post-reunion Bits 'n Bytes |
---|
The entertainment for the NCVA banquet was provided by Rhymin' Richie Phillips. He wrote two songs especially for the event and has graciously given us (NCVA-NE) permission to give them to anyone who would like to have them. If anybody would like a copy of the songs (TAMORI and NCVA) please contact me kman@meganet.net and I will attach them to an email for you. The following is an email sent by Richie to Al St.Onge thanking for a testimonial letter of appreciation he received. "Holy macarel, Al!!!! Way more than I could have asked for!! Thanks VERY VERY much for that. Will ad that to my testimonial page of my website. Again, thanks so much for everything. I’m getting emails from some of your members in fact. Am sending you audio cuts of your personalized songs. I’m getting requests from a few of your members for copies. If you want to be the liason, feel free to just forward these on to whomever. Maybe you could post them on a website that you may have where they can download them. Actually, come to think of it, I could post them on mine, but I need about 2 weeks to get this site reworked. Which ever way you want to do it, please let me know. I totally enjoyed myself, and I appreciate the nice comments." Take care.

From Art Gowie after the October 7-9, 2011 Glens Falls, NY Reunion: "Suzie and I spent a couple of extra days in the area following the Mini-Reunion, before returning home to Maine, including one beautiful day in Saratoga and one in Lake George walking the battlefield. While in Saratoga we stopped to check on the NCVA Memorial stone, as we do whenever we pass through Saratoga. I think the next time I am in Saratoga I will find out what kind of paint can be used to blacken in the wording on the stone. BTW: Saratoga continues to improve the Memorial Park." |
