Nov '62 Deperm "I am the webmaster for another navy ship, the USS Surfbird [http://www.surfbird383.org]. The Surfbird has a long career as a mine sweeper (AM & MSF) and later as a degaussing vessel (ADG).

During the time she was designated as an ADG she depermed the Mansfield and one of our officers snapped a picture in November 1962.
