BOSTON REUNION BULLETIN 001
RV INFO: The 2001 Reunion (Boston, A 2001 Odyssey) is being held at the Ferncroft Resort Hotel in Danvers, MA at the start of the Labor Day weekend (29 August - 1 September). Weekends in New England RV parks are especially busy at that time of year, so we havenot been successful in acquiring special rates for RV owners during the Boston reunion. Therefore, all RV owners intending to travel to the Boston reunion next year are encouraged to make reservations as far in advance as possible, certainly no later than 4 months prior to the reunion. There are three (listed below) RV parks located within about 25 miles from Danvers. All three charge about $30 per night for full hookups and $28 for water and electricity. It is also a common practice for these parks to charge for three nights minimum, even though you might want to stay for only one or two nights:
1. Littleton KOA, Littleton, Mass. : (978) 772-0042)
2. Pines Camping, Salisbury, Mass. : (978) 465-0013
3. Tuxbury Pond, South Hampton, NH: (603) 394-7660

The Reunion Committee's point of contact for additional RV information is:

BOSTON REUNION BULLETIN 003
For those of you intending to attend the reunion at the Ferncroft Resort in Danvers, MA, 29 August - 1 September 2001 and wish to attend the Clam Bake, Friday evening, 31 August: I put a statement in the Reunion Registration Form (see CRYPTOLOG and/or NCVA Web Page - Reunion site) that the maximum capacity for the Clam Bake will be 250 people, and that refunds would be provided for those that don't register in time to make the cut off. The hotel has agreed to two (2) settings, at different times, if necessary. Therefore, we now have a "feeding plan" that will accomodate 500 people. Bon Appetite!

Post-Reunion Bermuda Cruise, 2 - 9 September: One of our members recently had an unfortunate experience with the tour company, Dale Meyrow Associates. The NCVA member called them requesting specific answers to questions concerning the cruise, but the individual at the other end of the line wasn't up-to-date with respect to the details. This has been rectified, and I can assure those interested that if you call Dale Meyrow Associates they will be prepared to handle all your questions. I can tell you the following:
1. NCVA members may leave their cars at the Ferncroft while on the cruise. Hotel parking is free, but the hotel is not responsible for theft etc.
2. Transportation from the Ferncroft to the Boston pier on 2 September will be provided by the tour company. Transportation from the Pier back to the Ferncroft on 9 September will also be provided.

All information pertaining to the Bermuda Cruise will be in the Spring CRYPTOLOG this coming June. I will also send it out via this medium, and it will be placed on the 2001 Reunion site on the NCVA Web Page.
