The FALL 2006 gathering of the New England Chapter of the Navy Cryptologic Veterans Association is scheduled for Friday October 13th through Sunday October 15th, at The Sturbridge Host Hotel. which is centrally located amongst all our membership and very easy to get to just off Exit 9 of the Mass Pike I-90 or the US 20 exit off I-84.

The Friday night Get-together featured a celebration of the Navy's 231st Birthday. A brief oral history about the establishment of the U.S. Navy was given, a Two-Bell Ceremony dedicated to our fallen shipmates was conducted, and the cutting of the Birthday Cake was done by Bob Field (the oldest Sailor present) and Paul (Stache) Hartnagel (the youngest Sailor present). After the cake and punch were distributed , toasting to the President of the United States, CNO, Navy Wive's and various other people were offered.
