"Two championship pictures - one was for Navy Championship and one for the Base all-service championship, but I don't recall which is which. Both were in 1958 and that's when we went to Morroco for the All Navy European Tournament, in which we finished 2nd or 3rd as I recall."

All-Star Cager - Half-Way 'Round, Don Sights Global Tour - Park Forester Don MacLagan, Half-way around the world now, is shooting for the complete trip.
And he's doing his shooting in the basketball court in behalf of the Bremerhaven Navy All-Stars.
MacLagan graduated in 1956 from Rich high, where he lettered in football, basketball, and baseball. The 6-foot, 6-inch, 220 pound youth, he's 20, is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Robert MacLagan, Sr., 315 Orchard.

HE ENLISTED in September, 1956, and recently at the base in Germany he passed the Petty Officer third class test.
Picked on the Bremerhaven All-Star Squad, MacLagan is now enroute to London, a stopover on a trip to Lyautey, French Morrocco, site of the all-navy European tournament.
The "world" champion will be named at eliminations in Boston. The around-the-world trip originates there, for the navy champ will play a series of exhibitions at bases on a global tour.
Don's brother Bob, also a Rich high graduate, is in the air force. Now stationed in Kasnsa, he was recently named "outstanding airman of the month".
