GasTank

This picture taken from instide the gate just before going under the arch. I think I recall the big gas tank and had written on it something about being given by the Marshall Plan. Note there is NO Admin. building.
MAA

Building to the right as you went through the arch. I think this was the building with the Master-at-Arms office where they jumped out of the window to apprehend the persons responsible for ringing the bell that hung in the arch. They damaged their leg but did not catch the ringers.
NoCupola

This picture shows that the end building, where the arch was, sick bay, library, chapel, etc., had NO cupola on top of it in 1994 when I was there.
Grinder

A picture of the "Grinder" with the trees. The trees are much larger and notice how the grinder is paved and used for parking. Anyone remember the thrust for physical fitness that we went through? We'd meet on the grinder for physical exercises.
Barracks

This is the barracks that Andy Baggs and most of us lived in. Notice how the windows now do not open in as they did when we were there.
Gym

This is the gymnasium as it appeared in 1994. In my two years at Bremerhaven I spent a great deal of my off duty time at the gym. The far end of the gym contained a sand pit used for weight ligting, etc., in 1952. In 1994 it was no longer there. Still, a sauna and massage room was upstairs.
